My List of Hot Literary Guys

Hello Fellow Readers!

Today I decided to make a list of all of the hottest literary guys that I can not get out of my mind. If you are like me, than there is always that one fictional character or many that you find extremely hot. I know it sounds crazy if you have never experienced this, however if you have than you will know exactly what I am talking about. In my opinion, an author wouldn't make a character so dreamy if they didn't hope that you would fall in love with that character just a little. I am not going to rank them, because honestly the guys on the list all have a special place in my heart. I will however name the book that they are in, so if you get curious you can read them, and hopefully fall in love with them as well! Who knows you may have fallen in love with the same characters or some on this list. If you have leave me a comment and let me know! Now let the fun begin!!

  • Mr. Darcy- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
  • Ramos- The Shelby Nichols Series by Colleen Helme
  • Travis- Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
  • Jack- The Lantern's Ember by Colleen Houck
  • Henry Nobly- Austenland by Shannon Hale
  • Heathcliff- Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  • Edward Rochester- Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
  • Ramses the Damned- The Mummy by Anne Rice
  • Scott "Trex" Trexler- From Here to You by Jamie McGuire
  • Caleb Scott- Fight or Flight by Samantha Young
  • Braden Carmichael- On Dublin Street by Samantha Young
  • Tharin Lunar- The Binding by L. Filloon
  • Fiske- Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young
  • Gideon- Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier
  • Morpheus- Splintered by A.G. Howard
  • Thorn- Roseblood by A.G. Howard

There are a lot more out there, however this is only the first list. If you have a favorite fictional character that didn't make the list leave a comment. I would love to know what other's are thinking as well!

Carrots: A Shelby Nichols Adventure Review

Happy Halloween Eve!

So I have a review coming out tomorrow on Halloween, however I just got done reading this super intense amazing book, and I can't wait to review it. Carrots by Colleen Helme, is a non-stop action adventure, filled with gangsters, action, laughter, obsession, and carrots. This book was suggested to me last week by one of my co-workers and when I started reading I couldn't put it down. It was so good that before I even finished the book, I went ahead and ordered the rest of the 11 book series which will be here Thursday. I am already having trouble waiting a couple of days...

The description from the Goodreads website is as follows:

"Shelby Nichols is an average woman who is married to the only guy she ever fell for. Her life is organized and predictable, revolving around her husband and two children. All that changes the day she stops at the grocery store for some carrots. As the cashier rings up her purchases, a gunman is busy robbing the bank inside the store. When a customer grabs the robber's mask, he is shot and everyone runs for cover. Everyone except Shelby, who finds herself face to face with the killer. The next thing she knows, she's lying on the floor with a bullet wound to her head. Luckily, the bullet only grazes her scalp, and she doesn't suspect any lasting affects until later, when she suddenly 'hears' what people are thinking. With this uncanny ability, her life takes on a whole new dimension. Her kids think she's bossy and too old to understand them, but that's nothing compared to her husband. He says he loves her, but what is it about the redhead at work that he doesn't want her to know? As if that isn't enough, the gunman knows she can identify him, and he's out to silence her forever. In her fight to stay alive, she is saved from certain death by a handsome hit-man with ties to organized crime. This pulls Shelby even deeper into danger, where knowing someone's thoughts can not only hurt her feelings, but get her killed."

Shelby was just your ordinary run of the mill stay at home mother, until she decided to pick up some carrots for dinner and her entire world changes. She starts to hear people's thoughts, and this leads her down a dangerous and thrilling adventure ride, where she learns things about herself, and the people around her. The things she gets herself into will make you laugh, and be on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next. You will want to kill some of the characters, slap them, cuss them, and will definitely fall in love with them.

I want to share a quote from Carrots with you, because when I read it I laughed, and could relate to how Shelby felt in that moment, and hopefully you will feel the same.

"I pulled into the parking lot, but all the close spots were taken, and I ended up parking so far away that I knew I'd get soaked. Did I really need the Carrots? I turned off the engine and without the wipers going, I could barely see out the windshield. I waited for a few minutes, hoping the rain would let up, but when it didn't, I knew I'd have to make a run for it."

Go fourth and dodge those bullets friends!
